Hi, all just an update on the Saturday arvo cruise. So far I have 56 that have indicated that they would like to participate. but who knows who will turn up on the day.

We hope to have a few video cameras set along the route this year so we may get some good footage. Just a reminder that the cruise starts around 2:30pm from Moto Farm Motel.
Hope to catch up with a few of you over the weekend. Please have a safe trip.

Tim (dirtbag), if you want to park your Hilux and trailer out the front of my place for a couple of days just let me know.

Regards
Pete

can anyone with a car trailer park in the car trailer parking area, or do u need a entry permit for the show? I have to take my LC to newcastle sunday to start getting engineered, and will be looking around at toranafest most of the day but not sure where i can park with the trailer.

Hi Shan620

we really won't know as we are going to be tight for room if we get the number of trailers that we expect.

You might be better off dropping the trailer at the engineers for the morning and collecting it later.

cheers

Hi Mick, just wondering, the entery form this year did not have the check box to mark if you wanted to be judged or not.
Some at the club thought that entering automaticly had the car judged, is that the case?

I dont think its a big issue if its judged? all they do is have a look over the car, half the time you wouldnt be able to tell who the judges are anyway.

Its not like they post the figures up for the world to see :)

Hey Mate,

Because of the fact that it's Sponsors Choice, we didn't want the Sponsors selecting a car that didn't want to be jugded. It makes it easier for them and at the end of the day, it's whatever they like in their category..

Oh, and yes we do post up the trophy winners details. Usually a couple of days after the show..

cheers
Mick

Is that a challenge Keith? If so, you are on :D

How about we park them next to each other at the motel and have an official Presidential "Rust Off" sometime on Saturday? I can make up a couple of signs, a ballot box and voting slips so that all the guests can cast a vote as they are wandering past.

Winner could be announced at the 'fest and as Mick suggested, they get their photo taken with their mobile tetanus dispenser and the lovely Grid Girls. The runner up gets their photo taken with Barry posing in a rather provocative fashion (if Pops agrees of course).

Wadda ya reckon? :P

Hi All

We have done a slight revise with regards to parking of Trailers.

The new plan is below;

The way it will work is that you will be parked in the area behind the Pond and at the completion of the show, you will be able to drive onto the grass and load up your car.

cheers
Mick

I meant the individual tally scores for each car Mick, as in there is nothing to embarass anyone who thinks their car should have scored better.

Cool, thanks Mick. Im onto it now. The great thing is neither of us can cheat and magically create more rust. Well not in three days anyway. Not saying that a man of distinction such as Keith would resort to underhanded tactics to secure a photo of him and the lovelies, me on the other hand........ *goes off to google quick and easy rust creation*

I will run it by you on the weekend Mick.

Cheers,

T

Aww c'mon Barry, the human body is a wonderful thing and should be modeled for all to appreciate :D

If you are ok with the idea I will discuss it further over the weekend. But no it wont be anything to suss (well, not by my standards anyway, hehehehe).
