G'day Wayne, just read the entire thread and gotta say the car looks great.

I came across this problem today and wanted to ask how much adjustment of the tunnel was required and did you just beat it with a hammer till it fit ok or is there a more generally accepted approach to resolving this issue?

Hi Steve,thanx for the compliment on the car.
I didn't realise it was that close till I had every thing bolted up,and I wasn't going to pull the motor out to fix it.
I used a crow bar against the bell housing and pushed the floor in a bit,legally you are supposed to have 10 mil clearance, mine doesn't hit, so all good.
