Front suspension,por15nd re located upper control arm bolt holes, lowered 25m/m. All new rubber bushes and ball joints.

This is what i made up for compressing the front springs.
A length of 15m/m allthread with piece of 10m/m id tube welded to one end, i wraped a piece of 3m/m flat over the tube and welded to the allthread just for a bit of added strength.

The round plate on the bottom is just a bit of 5m/m plate i had laying around.

put the spring in place, pass the tube end of the rod up through the lower control arm into the shock tower,use the top bolt of the shock absorber,pass it through the tube,wind the nut up on the bottom of the rod to the required position, bobs your uncle..

The car sat like this for the next 8 months,waiting for the friendly, but unproductive, local panel beater to finish another project???

I spoke to Dennis[RUTS] and he knew of a mate of a mate. they both came over and had a look and Steve said he would straighten it out ,and i must say what a fantasic job he did with it..

It only took about a month and a half For Steve to do the number on it,he,s quick and damn good at it..

I get a phone call Thursday night,your car is finished,in primer,the spray booth is booked, and so is Paul THE painter. AAAhhhh ok. Organise trailer...
