Mick,
I've not been to TF yet so forgive my naivety but I am coming up this year and was wondering if you have a stall at TF, or are you just way to busy with the event to contemplate a stall?
Cheers, TB

Thanks Mick,
Thought as much.
Tell me, if I were to order some things, can I collect them from you up there by any chance or are you just way to occupied with TF?
Cheers, TB

Hi All

just rec'd the samples for the following items. Pretty happy with them as well. These should be here in the next 10 - 12 weeks.

Hinge Assembly Tonneau Floor

Latch Assembly Tonneau Floor

Retaining Clip

Release Handle & Knob Assembly (for the Monaro's and LC/ LJ Coupes)

Pricing hasn't been confirmed yet but as a guide the Hardware Kit for the Hatch Tonneau Floor (1 x Hinge, 2 x Latches, 1 x Retainer Clip) is looking at around $110 plus GST.

The Release Handle and Knob Assembly is looking at around $35.00 a set (plus GST).

Looks great Mick, been looking for a hatch floor hinge for a while. I assume you will sell them separately?

Hi Brad,

the black end is powder coated to a thickness to give it the feel as per the original ones that were a plastic coated..

That area has been the hardest part of this item to get right..

Very happy with these. They will be going in the hatch!

Hi Adam

Yeah, I have seen this stuff as well..

For the amount that we are doing, it was more cost effective to do it by powder coating. The feel of it is the same as the old ones but much stronger so we are going to stick with that.

Hey Mick, got a question about bonnet hinge rivets.
Posted elsewhere for discussion ( http://www.gmh-toran...ets#entry193240 )
Anything in the pipeline for these restoration parts? Perhaps in an oversize?
Cheers.

Hi All

We are proud to announce the availability of the reproduction Hatchback Tonneau Floor Covers.

After a few people have asked about getting these complete, ready to assemble, we have taken up the challenge and recreated these pieces in very limited quantities.

We have also fast tracked limited numbers of the components to be able to offer these sets to those that want them. Once this batch of 20 are sold, it may not be repeated.

These have been hand made using 12mm particle board and we were lucky enough to use original panels as a template.

If you need these for your car, you do not want to miss out!

The price for these is $330 a set and that includes the three panels, all hardware and an LX Jacking Decal. as well as detailed instructions on how to assemble.

Postage on these will vary from state to state so this will be worked out prior to purchase. As a guide, see the following;

Weight: Parcel A: 7.0kg Parcel B: 2.0kg
Dimensions: Parcel A: 71 x 62 x 4cm Parcel B: 104 x 28 x 4cm

Costs Parcel A Parcel B
To 2001 $22.75 $17.35
To 3001 $28.65 $20.85
To 4001 $29.35 $21.75
To 5001 $33.15 $22.35
To 6001 $57.00 $30.30
To 7001 $45.75 $26.50
To 0830 $61.50 $31.80

To secure yours now, email me at [email protected]

At the moment, I am waiting on the Jacking Decals, which I should have after Xmas.

Remember, these will only be offered for a limited time.

For those waiting on the sets without the timber panels, these will be available when we receive the other stock, which should be around the end of Jan/ early Feb.

cheers
Mick

That is really cool Mick !

Glad I was able to help out in some small way at least for Torana folk in general (of course you did the work itself)

Makes for a good history to the new repro parts...made off a part, from a car that is in America, ha ha...
