yep, invited clubs and cars are inside the track, singles and other clubs are outside and don't get to do laps. I thought you guys were inside?

Grrr, OK, you've made me get off my ass and have a look at the tickets. They say, Gate 4 Only, Pit Straight Car Club.

That means diddly to me. Will just go along and see what happens, not overly fussed where or when.

Kevin, yours should say the same since we ordered yours with our Club.

If you are on pit straight, thats the Coral which is on the outside of the track near the grandstand. The other clubs are inside the track on the skid pan the same setup as last year. The cars in the coral don't get to do the laps purely due to access.

no no no, it's inside the facility, just not on the inside of the actual race track , you will be over near the grandstand. There will be plenty of cars over there.

Howdy All,
Just looked at the Australian Weather Bereau's website for Sydney. It only predicts till sat, but for sat - sunny & 24. Couldn't ask for better than that. Let just hope sun is the same. Only 5 & a wakey to go. You little beauty! :D :D :D.

Ill be wearing my white HTC "When Your Hot Your Hot T-Shirt" on Sunday, will be there both days, probably also helping with the setting up on Friday. Maybe the guy's that have forum shirts can wear them on Sunday? :tease:

Yella, if you don't go, you have bugger all chance of getting invited next year. Why not go? You will still be in a display, you still get to see a great deal of racing and awesome cars plus special guests?? Where you park shouldn't make a difference.

Keith mate I hope you do get to make it, I am now definitely on Pats list as attending :) Looking forward to seeing you. Parking seems bit of a worry (although not to me as I wont be driving) ie this bloke can park here but your car can only be parked over there.
I wont get started on that though as my feelings are pretty damn strong.

Be nice to see some historic race cars though and any other car is the same to me, ie if it aint raced it aint special. Just a damn nice car :) Bites tongue - enough Alan enough LOL

RedA9X, you are right, will be there. Bad hair day this morning. Dude repaired the guage in 2 hours flat, so will fit tonight and get Yella back together again!! Just too many little shitty things all at once.

Keith, we are behind the grandstand, which is still in the gate and all that.

We've spoken to Phil Harrison, so we are all clear now on what we are in for, which is generally all I ask of event organisers, but more often than not something that is overlooked.

^ Just call it pre-show jitters/angst and all that. While there are many things on the car that I'd like to be better, there are just a few that have to be done before the show, i.e. how much fuel?

Good to see you guys will be there. Like I said, it's a matter of space and I guess it's also a case of who came last year (our club was the first club to enter last year inside knowledge helps) and so we got a good setup with our marquee last year while everyone else was in the rain. We were invited again and jumped at the chance and will be again next year as our Nationals again at this stage.

Kieth, I'll post details. Saturday doesn't appear to be much happening. We will be meeting Hux (Greg) at Goulburn. Think there is talk about heading off from here about 8:00am, meet Hux at Goulburn at 9:00am, which will see us get to the track at about 11:30am ish.

$200, pffft. Did a panic with fuel since the guage went to shit. Have 70 Litres already (60L in Gerry cans x 3, and 10+ L still in the tank), so add 50 litres and I'll be full. Nothing shits me more than cars with fuel guages that don't work ---> hence brain explosion this morning.

We are meeting on Wednesday night to finalise the arrangements, so I'll fill you in after that.

im in fellas im going up to sydney on friday saturday drags sunday aust musclecar mag event and monday home

looking extremely foward to it as i went to last years one

keep an eye out for the red head kid with the chevrolet jacket ... also might have the skull rings on as well

We're just spectating, I am curious, is there a program for Sunday floating around somewhere? Whats on / When, etc... ?
