septone probably the best choice there. glass fibre filler is for boats or cheat rust repairs.
ive used septone and its not too bad.

dont supose anyone would know anything about pro image refinish in bargo?
Posted 31 July 2014 - 11:52 AM
Just a suggestion.
Put it on a trailer and take it to someone who you know will do a good job.
3 here come to mind.
mikecatts
lonack - john gong
dirtbag
And you can have a nice little road trip at the same time.
Havent been involved in the game for a while.
But I have seen the results of guys paying top dollar for repairs.
All lapped joints. No butt welding.
Jobs still turned out ok.
Chase up the Thirlmere Flyers Guys
They have some really neat cars and would know who was who in your area.
Posted 31 July 2014 - 06:13 PM
yea they're a bit far away, i'd like to watch it all come together and maybe help out a bit. Andrew ash has won a few comps at summernats and so on so im pretty sure he would do a good job. Just looking for other options incase he is massivly busy

Most shops wont let you help out.
They have insurance obligations.
But there are some that will.
From experience with friends shops they dont like the customers turning up a lot.
While they are chatting to you work isnt getting done and money not being made.

Already talked to him when he did the quote and was more than happy for me to do that.
