These fell off the back of a truck when I went to see a man about a dog :) ........... no I didn't steal them. I know nothing about paint, but I know it was going to be thrown out if I didn't take it. I don't have any hardener for it. My question is, what type of paint is it and would it come in useful on any parts of my hatch?

Hey Kush,
Looks like some industrial 2 pack paint,
as you can see one is a 2 pack Black,
and some industrial Clear, not sure what Clear Base means,
you would have to contact the distributor to find out if it is a top coat clear
or clear binder used for mixing pigments and metallic powder into to create a paint.
You also need the Part B hardener and some 2k reducer to mix the paint.
As always with automotive and industrial 2 pack paint you need the correct saftey gear to use it,
as 2 Pack paint contains isocynates in the hardener, which are highly toxic.

Cheers
Chris.

PS What does it say on the instruction panel for the clear base?
Can you take a picture of that one.

Thanks BigChris and Quagmire. This is all that's on the tins. It'd be good if it could be used as diff or subframe paint.

bombers the one to ask
he deals with this type of stuff 12 hours a day
if you brush it on then you may only need "minimal" ppe
