Hi. It will take some time to cut the blocks up to see the differences. As far as the metallurgy report on the blocks go, I have to look through 37 years of daily bulletins from repco. It will take a bit of time.  So please be patient .   Phil.

Sure they will be more rigid. Your engine could be an experiment that's all I'm saying. Simply siamesing the cylinders and not considering cylinder wall thickness could give undesired results. If your block has a smooth finish and it hasn't been hand polished it's likely been moulded in a different process , probably chemical set sand , as this normally has a smoother finish. This would make you think it was not cast in the production Holden engine foundry.

Have you found that metallurgy report yet. Will be real interesting to see what REPCO found.

Hopefully might settle a few debates about the JP blocks once and for all.
