hi all,

got a phone call from a friend from narrabri saying he,d found a torana,we swap bits and peices,he collects petrol signs and bowsers and me holdens,i have a sign he wants and he a torana,so i load up my car and leave at 6am and in narrabri by 745am,unload sign and go and collect car, he said it was very rough but no rust holes.

after i got home at 12 midday it was time to put on guards and make it look like a car as my kids are sick off me bringing cars home, so i put on guards ,front appron and cleaned it up,went and hid when cath went to pic girls up from school ,and guess what i havn,t heard a thing,i guess it blends in with all the other shit.

the car hardly has a rust hole anywhere but is a shit box,hl engine, s torana,spoilers ,99,998kls on clock,i think with a strip back it would be a great start for someone.

heres some pics of my day out ,i had fun anyway in our glourios outback on my day off.

who knows dane,

you know me,one day i might fix it,v8 build a nice streeter, or someone may have something i want to swap,but for now i will preserve it with rust converter,so it doesn,t get any worse than it is.

blown 308,old mate from narrabri,s name is daryl,he,s a big fella and lives on the edge of town coming from my end,and has a huge collection of petrol bowsers and signs etc

thanks woodsy,i,ve been removing all carpet,and door trims to clean out dust ,the front floor had and inch of water,and no rust holes,i love the country,i,ll wack up some more pics tommorrow,its looking like someone likes it now. Posted Image

ok,been buisy preserving the old torana,
2 cans of wd40 ,some rust converter on surface rust and a few small holes.

i can,t see the torana carn,t see what my family is complaining about,can you see it.

the other kingswoods are around the back with the other shitters,

see the LJ, we had a mid mounted 350chev turbo 350 and 10 years ago blasted up and down the dirt roads out here,but as usual we got more police in the area and can,t play that anymore, so yanked the running gear,and kept the good bit,exept the big hole in cab where engine was.

I'll swap ya a sign for the purple 2 door ?

bahahaha,it has a big hole in the floor.

craig, so does your mate live on the Gun club road ?? and if you need the parts to fix that 2 door I may a firewall and front floor section down the back that you can have if you want.. wayne

sorry to say, i,ve cut up many over the years,mainly for floor sections, beavers,bolts etc for maonaro,s,never thought people would chase sedans ,prems,etc,i,ve got a few sedans for spares,ute,van,brougham,but will keep till the last monaro is complete,i,ll keep an eye out for you.

not sure where the gun club road is,the floor section is muchly appreciated,but i have a 4cylinder lj with perfect floor and firewall.

got the lh running today,

engine sounds fine,which is good news,

anyways i,m slowly going to post some pics of other adventures i,ve had,i hope you enjoy.
