That purple HQ looks like it wouldn't need much work.

yep you heard correct,found in a smash repairs many years ago and kept.

thats where it was found,in a smash shop many years ago,

i think a hatchback torana was in a big smash,body was suplied to repair, then the job was never finished.

thanks TBM,
i want the old truck.

anyways back to the mega adventure,what an eye opener it was,i could spend a month there and wouldn,t even see half the gear that was here,unbeleivable.

and here we go,

i,ll start to add pics for you to share,i,ll start outside with the classic steel,then inside the biggest mother frocker shed i ever saw,FULL to the roof with the best gear on the planet,and unfortunatly my phone camera was playing up,but i got a heap of good pics anyways.

Smiths 'Beehive 'heater common in FE, FC, FB, EK. Sell for about $100-$200.

the smiths heater was a universal type that were mainly found in old Landrovers and trucks but also cars as you found

They would be worth a mint, relatively speaking.

i,d imagine many car models and trucks had them,as nicko has pointed out,

thanks for sharing the model holdens that they would of mainly been fitted to,

so do you think they would be to early a heater for an EH ?or would they be out of place.

they are in a very safe place,

in a rust free enviroment,beleive or not,as you can see the shells are in good nick.

the guy is a switched on restorer,with heaps of super special vehicles, in that bloody huge shed.

i was laughing,the family went to town for the day and i was visited by holden collector friend chasing fe parts.

he left one very happy man,his wife said he really enjoys coming up here and scabing about my shit,which i also enjoy seeing happy faces.
