ive got some,DONT hop out of car when there is a Blue Healer near you, just toot the horn first and someone will usually come out, dont go looking in sheds before speaking to property owner,as they wont be friendly and even if youve got money they will not deal with you if they think they found you sneaking around.

I love this thread. If you ever come across panels or anything for a xa-xc falcon coupe let me know as I am restoring one.

Hi,

yeah i get a sniff of cars and go cruising,

When i arrive its just a case of be friendly, which comes easy, farmers are in no rush,so they love a chin wag,as they are generally lonely on the properties, and yes watch cattle dogs, they love nipping at heals.

Probably don,t have eyes casing the place, just focus on making a good impression, once they feel at ease,of you go,and cashola is the go,they don,t see any of that.

and lastly,if someone with a head like mine can do it, anyone can, hehehe.

The HR on the trailor was the biggest peice of shhit you,ve ever seen, heaps of peices missing rust and bog,his price is dreaming,i talked to him and his answer was you should see what things are pulling at the all holden day in sydney,my answer was "we arn,t there now",so he dropped the lip and said if it doesn,t sell thats where its going, long wait for that and a fortune in fuel.

What he meant was "you should see what people are ASKING for cars at the All Holden Day swap meet....

Some people are unreal with their prices..... A couple of weeks ago I went with a buddy to look at a HR parts car. No motor,no box,no diff,no front end,no steering wheel or blinker assembly, rusty floors, all panels rusty(but repairable if you were desparate),rooted highback seats out of who knows what and rats living in the backseat. The rear quarters werent too bad. The car is miles out of Sydney and not being a roller,a total nightmare to load and unload. He wants $500 for it. Its gunna stay there forever.

I saw a guy recently with his LJ for sale. Not a GTR or XU1, a basic S.
Rusted within an inch of its life, complete car but in really really poor condition.
Wanted $15,000, i nearly fell over when i saw the price.
Amazing what some people want for them.
Even more amazing some people are willing to pay anything near what people ask.
