Hi wot179,craig
the hr ute is the cleanest body i,ve ever seen, just need instructions where all these screws bolts and bits go,luckly they are very similar to hk,s,so i,ve got a good idea how to reassemble.
sunburst,hi dane,
I,ll never forget the first time i heard an engine like that,in traffic in sydney, prolley 30 years ago,it shook the whole street.
NeilsLX,How you been mate, you found anything lately, was a great adventure this one, didn,t want to come home and face reality of going to work again,i live and breath this stuff, wish that was every day, just travel around looking at cars in any condition. :-))
next adventure is back to the outback, gully with cars and a good find to bring home, front yard ornament ATM,hehehehe.
keep forgeting, that FC is fully what i want, leave as is and drive,i,m going through a stage ATM,i want something thats not shiny.

Been working on a pair of VS V8s one a Caprice the other a Berlina. The Caprice is now a gutted shell.
I went to Sydney/Newcastle for a week away and did one of the V8 drives at Eastern Creek that was fun
Hows the Monaro and XU1 going? Theres no way id want to go back to work after looking at heaps of nice old cars.
I fairly sure i know where theres a NOS tyre door section and tyre door for a HR ute if you nead it.
Have to catch up soon.

Hi neil, real interested in lower tail gate for this ute,as i don,t have one,the one off this car was used on another cars resto. The V8 day would have been a treat, unfortunatly my cars have been sleeping, been flat out running about,i,ve got a recovery today after anzac, then on weekend off to Moree to look at some other holdens, and hopefully grab one or 2.

Craig, the wife loves the pic of that house!!!!...... you know what why. Thanks.
Hi mate,
I,ll have to take a pic and show everyone what your wife made me,i can not beleive how talented she is,and the present is in with my Very special things on display.
Anyway the house was the first settlers house on a large property, imagine how bloody cold it was,and was at a time where you had to drive a horse drawn buggy , a day ,to get to town. Now the owners live in a 3rd home, as time goes by,new houses have been built. The owners said they are going to spend time and money, and prop the house up a bit to preserve.
I remember going to the Piliga once, they had old homes, everything was left where it stood, all house items, cars trucks all farm machinery and they moved to the new home and sheds a stone throw away, apparently in the 50,s, a heap of money was made from sheep wool etc they were cashed up,even bought exotic cars etc, this farm had a home from the 1800,s, then the 50,s,then about a 90,s home,i took a truck and trailor and they gave me 2 holdens, wish i took the camera.
