the floor from the tunnel back is all good once you change the handbrake hangers, rear patrol arm hangers,, and the little tab that holds the fuel line, and if its a 73 4 banger well you know the diffrence there with the extra strengthing.

I've got a photo somewhere of that van now finished (it is green now).
Guys there was a HG 6cyl GTS at that same yard when that van was there.

yoda,thanks for the tip on the floor differences.
hey gong,the floor i have ia a 73 in mint condition can i make it fit?drill a couple of holes etc,got pedals still there,i,ll put up a pic of what has been chopped.
quagmire,mate i,ve seen a few vals about,
one in a paddock when i was riding my dirt bike about,i think it was a wayferra ute,spelling not right but you get the drift,i have to go back one day so i,ll get a pic of those cars,my friend has a restored drifter ute 318 with stickers all over it from factory.

the floor is only rooted between front seats ,up into firewall,and not into rear floor at all.

Hay mate.... If you look closely I think you will find the 4 cylinder lj firewall is Very different to the 6 cylinder car...... Even the pedal box assy is different. I'm unsure about the tunnel section but the firewall is definitely different! Maybe you should grab that other freebie while it is on offer?

anywazz we use to drive that car about , on a kansis USA number plate on the rear only for about 12 months ,it was a cruiser about the country roads,many a laugh in that old thing.no one ever asked about the plate.

yeah craig my mum and dad had 2 ek holden,s both grey with the white roof sedans and funny enough they were both unregistered but my dad used to cruise about in them lucky he didn,t have a crash in them imagine trying to explain why the car,s hasn,t been regeod for 5 years straight lol craig

the monaro is in a small town not to far away,no one really knows its there,but the owner feels its worth 8,ooo which i think is to much seeing the psn number is missing,i,m pritty sure it could be worked out and remade,anywaze next time i,m close to it i,ll check,he,s flooded in atm.
hi dane,o and billy, life is what you make it i guess,me likem finding old cars and restore a few along the way.
