whats the story on the munro!
She has gone to a Very good home, where someone can enjoy it ,and finish it off, with his own personal touch.
My main focus now is getting the old blue beast on the road again. My kids were more important than playing games with it,so i shelved it,for more than 10 years.Ive had it for 30 years this year, and i,m not getting any younger,so time to play again.
I need to find a highway ratio detroit locker 9 inch 31 spline centre,11 inch muncie bellhousing ,steel flywheel and new clutch, gunna remove the poxy top loader with vertical gate shifter, and refit a muncie. I,ve removed brakes, which is always my first job, then get the fast bit going .In my youth,i was the opposite ,don't worry about brakes, till to late.
If anyone can help with these parts,PM me please,i got lots a shit to swap!!

Hi
This monaro had been sitting out in the weather for a good 10 years since he rubbered it back, luckily rust does not attack cars out here.It was in a small town off the beaten track.
Dave l,
Thanks for positive comment, this is my favourite car, bought when i was 20 and we have done plenty off mischeif together.
CAT 308,very nice car you have.
WOT thats a macca,s bin lid,from the 80,s, lol,classic stuff mate.
Work finished, time to play on my monaro, here are some pics of the old beast,a lot of cleaning to do,scrapped out all rubber from guards, but a lot of damage behind rear guard, also a steel belt mark high up on quarter, but i,ve had a very close look at car,and boy its only got a small rust repair to do on drivers floor pan,i,m so happy its such a good body, except for lots of holes where i,ve had different combo,s over the years.
