I hope you are doing custom rear shock mounts as that is a bad idea to use the original ones in single shear mode with the full spring weight on them.

I think you may be referring to Dirtbag in this thread.

that is sort of what I meant - someone did it much better than that where it mounted up on top of the lower control arm mount rather than butcher the hell out of it like that. That one looks a bit backyard to me.

I had a plate welded on instead of using the K-MAC u-bolts.

Clearnace wise - one would have to check it out - hard to tell without trying it. Hopefully the top shock mount is also strong enough.
MickLX, good point about the front as well. I wonder if these are planned to go on top or below the control arm?
Looks like it could only go on top unless the pin through the bush comes out.
Are these alloy bodied? They do look nice.

I would have some concerns about relocating the springs (rear) i have some doubts about the top shock mounts taking the spring loads long term as they were never designed for that.

x2, wouldnt you have to build in some braces between the 2 towers inside the boot and tied into the chassis?
The Torana is build like a Tank when you compare the old Holden quality to a thin sheet metal of modern cars with a Mcpherson front suspension.
We will see.............

On a side note, Brett32i has his coilovers mounted in the stock rear shock mounts with no problems so far.
