Polishing a Drop Tank?

Used it on my boat to give it a cut and polish and came up really good. Then I wiped turtle wax on it, let it dry then buffed it off with this thing and I haven't seen a new one shine this good. So I thought if it works on fibreglass I give the car a hit. It's awesome as I could never get a real high shine buffing by hand.
Secret is not to burn the polish or whatever you are using in.

It would be a brave man attaching a buffing pad to a 9 inch grinder......

And you would want some sort of speed control I think a full speed grinder would definitely cause some damage. The grinder buffs are only rated to 2850rpm

its actually a large diameter calico buff on a single action rotaryt sander/polisher using the outer edge as the contact point, not the round flat surface as you would when you are polishing a car. Its basically like holding a the bench grinder in your hand just not as stupid.
