Am getting a friend to convert ( at a specialist engineering firm ) some 14x8 HQ GTS rims to 15x10 and 15x9 for me, to fit an A9X.
Dose someone have the correct back space/off set for these style of rims to suit above car.
Thanks, Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year.

14x6 HQ rims: +13 offset
14x6 A9X rims: -6 offset.

Basically the A9X rims stuck out an extra 3/4" each side than an HQ rim.

I've got modified GTS wheels on my hatch.

15 x 8 on the front (4.5" backspace) and 15 x 10 on the rear (5.5" backspace).

I didn't build them but bought them off a forum member who had them made. Obviously your diff and any other modifications to your car will come into play.

Anyway, here's a couple of photo's.

I forgot to mention I wouldn't go 15 x 9 on the front. I think it will be too wide.

My first preference would be 15 x 7, next 15 x 8 on the fronts.

I had 14X8 all round on my L34.

Stock offset GTS rims were too far inward with the flares and looked stupid, even with the extra 20 mm it would be silly.

If youre changing the rim width the amount of factory back space wont really help.

You should measure how much clearance you have and set the back space from that.

My car had A9X style front end HQ stub axles and vented discs with HQ off set rims 14 by 7 on front and 14 by 8 on rear front tire 225 60 rear 245 50 back could have been wider but I never had any problems with tires rubbing or catching and full suspension travel

On a 8" rim 4.5" backspace or 0 offset is perfect.
On a 9" rim I wouldn't go any more than 5" on a standard diff width as tyre clearance on the inside may become a problem if it has a large rolling diameter.

cheers

For those of you who are interested, it is cheaper to get a 15x10 made rather than a 15x9. This is because they take a 10" wide outer and narrow it to 9".
