Hi Guy's,

I have purchased another Torana SLR four door as I could not decide between the two or four so I now have both, anyway I wish too do some work to this motor thou not goes as full on in the bling department as I am with my two door SS as that will be getting some track work etc & a real hiding if I can handle it, I would like too put some more poke into the SLR in the way of stroking the motor from 308-355 & I am wanting too retain the original look somewhat with the old school tin rocker covers & I have spoken with Yella Terra & I was informed that they have a head called a dash 2 that they supply the Muscle Car Masters series & that they will fit my tin covers & I can also run a Roller Rocker also which is really good too as I will have respectable 320-350 HP at the back wheels as I have a good engine builder mate.

I was wondering if anyone has heard of this head that Yella Terra are selling & if anyone has used this head & what they think of them? I am under the belief that I would be best in changing the manifold as that will give me better flow for the whole package as I do not really care about having too change the manifold as I am just wanting to keep the original rocker covers & modify the snorkel box for better airflow or just change that over when I take it to cars shows for the sort of semi original look.

Thanks guys for any help.....

Take a look at the Targa hatch thread http://www.gmh-toran...1&hl=targa&st=0
Mark is using the YT alloy heads
I think his is heavily modified -3's though (high port)
Note the inlet manifold spacer to lift it up for better flow into the ports

Hi Dattoman,

Thanks for your reply regarding my inquiry in regards to my new 308-355 build for my SLR four door as I have joined this forum so I could get helpful tips from other Torana enthusiasts like yourself, so thanks again for replying to my post & anymore info that you may have would be great mate.

All the best to you....
