Hey guys just starting a thread for all the guys on this forum (myself included who will be looking for an engine in the next year or two.)
Just add your state and your company you trust, maybe a small cameo on them so I can add them to this post and make this into a good informative thread.
Mine was QLD - Autotech Engineering in Toowoomba. These guys did an amazing job on my best mates VL Turbo, doing many custom billet parts and airbrushing, transforming the Standard RB30 Turbo motor to a fairly tough and reliable 700 HP weapon at 18 psi boost.
edit: Autotech may no longer be around, I think they have moved into Brisbane so at this stage that may be a bum steer. Please add yours though.

I have an engine builder... but he's exclusive and prepares racecars inc mine and not much else

Chris thompson www.catmotorsport.com.au/ does alot of work for friends of mine and also my self does not only engines but pretty much anything from diffs conversions roll cages to custom rear mounted turbo set ups everything lol

Rod Rainford - Advanced engine dynamics , Bendigo, awesome bloke builds some of the toughest engines in Aus . Also holds world record for n/A 6 cyl in a torana i might add !!!

Great to see a link like this one . Once more established it should be a sticky i feel. It would also be nice to have a sticky with proven engine power combos . For example ,

This is the idea, so to have a thread, where it will have recommended engine builders etc cos we all know how much of a pain it is to get a decent builder who will take the time to do what you want etc.
