I was at Rare Spares today and noticed you can buy rebuild kits for HQ-era Holden window regulators.
This is something I've been wondering about lately for LH/LX/UC series Torana's, as my driver's side regulator is completely knackered. The little rolly wheels are broken, the splines where the window winder goes onto are totally stripped etc... I have been meaning to hit a wrecker to find a replacement, however even if I find a good one, it's still going to be 30 years old.
Is this something that others would be interested in too??
Is this something Rare Spares would be interested in producing??

Ive gotto buy a set for the monaro.. thankfully rares has them for the HQ!! (Funds are EXTREMELY low at the moment... so lots has gone on the backburner for me!!) Are they similar Brett??

Pretty sure you can buy the un-punched pin and plastic wheels from Repco.
I have seen them on EBAY too.
You would need to drill yours out and re-punch the pin/roller thing.
(I actually made one from a roller of a sliding door - 10.5mm dia x 2.5mm,
just from Bunnings. Cost about $6 for a pair, threw out the adjuster bits)
Better to have the real deal though I think. Or go VT commode electrics!!!
JFTR I have a passenger one and two old Merc power window switches that
were going to go on mine at some stage
