this is for you CraigA (was that the stp commo ?)
i had fuel pump probs which explains the carbs running out at times .
and ive watched this vid several times now awesome stuff love it.

rob , not in that vid do you hear any bad noises but in the first vid in qualifying you would have heard the tailshaft hitting on the floorpan due to crossmember bent up and we fixed this , not sure how this happened but i,d suspect a trolleyjack (not me)...

grant external appearance yes but not sound , you dont hear the torana untill the jag brakes early .

i had a dopey mechanic bend 2 trailing arms on my lx hatch the day before a race because he was to lazy to put the jack under the diff .came with the usual shoulder shrug response when i told him.
thats what you call adding more pinion angle !

Ultimately though he tried a little too hard and out braked himself. Go Ed :-)
Eds 'gearbox failure' was a broken uni joint which created a vibration that tore the extension housing to bits.

yeah no worries great idea , must have been 50 inside the car since it was over 30 outside .
airconditioning in the transporter is a must for next year ....
