Just wondering [ inspiration from dirtbag] what you think the top 5 coolest cars in the world are? It might be interesting to see the results. We wont know unless we try.
In no particular order...
#1: LX Torana hatch.
There just has to be a Torana in the mix. Timeless styling with a brilliant promotion package & Bathurst results to back it up! It also appeals to my generation.
#2: Jaguar Etype roadster.
Man!!! these things just ooze sex appeal! If you can forgive the horrible wiring which is typical of brittish cars, & lacklustre performance, the shape is very appealing.
#3: Porsche 911.
These little demons were soooo far ahead of their time. Probably the 2nd most modified car in the world! Enjoying a 911 is something i would recommend to everyone to put on their bucket list. You don't need a new GT3 to experience that.. "I'm sure i was going in the other direction" feeling.
#4: Astin Martin DB Vantage:
I don't care if Clarkson likes the smooth lines... i do too!
#5: It's hard to pick the final car. Fezza GT250 californian? Shelby AC Cobra? I'm going to say...... split window Vette! The styling haunts me!

My top 5 coolest cars ever....this isn't necessarily my favourite 5
5. Aston Martin DB5 - come on, we all wanted to be James Bond cause he was as cool as ice.
4. Lamborghini Countach - these things are just art on wheels - sexy sexy art and re-defined the supercar and dictated the shape of future supercars
3. AC Shelby Cobra - there is a reason its the most copied car in the world
2. Torana LH/LX - box torana's really defined aussie muscle cars imo, small, light, nimble and can fit some bloody big motors in them, perfect for whatever you wanted, cruising the streets, drag racing, or going circuit racing. (they especially look the best in racing trim with slicks, fat wheels, flares, drop tanks and war paint)
and finally...
1. E Type jag roadster - just drop dead gorgeous looks and a sound to die for. You just know the driver is a cool motherf***er
Probably a shed load of cars i didnt think about.....

Nice choice Mr. T, I also like some of the accessories that come with those cars.
There's heaps of nice cars out there. I'm also quite partial to the new/current model Suzuki Swifts. Drove a Suzuki Swift race car once. Very understated little performers.
