Well I had no luck selling the heads. Seems I am the only dick who buys shit then finds out its crap! The only thing left of the heads of procomp is the cast it self. I changed the valves, springs etc. Hopefully it will be ok. The crank is scat the cam and rockers are crane. I did manage to fit their alternator bracket once I took to it with a grinder and a hammer. Once I save up and get over the reeming of the build I might get a good set of heads and manifold. Until then I just hope it holds together! Live and learn i guess.

Thanks Kush. May I add that anyone who runs a Torana and a XR6T has to have good taste :)

That link MYLJ put up is talking about my ad, lol

Dont despair I still run the poocomp heads and like yours have only the bare cast left, they are working fine for me and they have around 10 000 Ks on them all hard reving abuse and drag strip work.

Also brought there stoker kit and there rods and crank are still hanging in there and see 7000 RPMs

Haha if you think thats weird! i know of a few ford 351 stroker kits from poo comp that have been running in the 11's for ages. I was tempted to build a 355 holden stroker using their kit as an experiment but then i came to my senses and bought a Scat kit instead. Glad to hear your heads are holding up you must be one of the lucky ones. :)
