Well I am quite excited to say the least, but after nearly 20 years sitting in the shed our lj gtr is about to head off to the panel shop, almost finished stripping her and the panel shop has rang and said they are ready. Very pleased to see a bit of the original colour when we have stipped her back, make's me feel a bit better about going back to the original colour as I have never seen it in the flesh. I ve attached a couple of pictures.

Mate i dont think you will need luck, it looks like a good body so i dowbt you will have many dramas... The colour looks like plum dinger but i wasent aware of it as an LJ colour ???

Make sure you post a LOT of pictures

Tags state royal purple which is what we are taking it back to, I dont think the colour on the dash is a true indication of colour and I have never seen the colour before, it is apparently a dark purple, Will keep you guys updated on the progress and will show you how she looks finished, will be awhile though. If anyone has any pictures of a royal purple lj please share.

Thanks for that, just went and checked out the website, it was great to see a couple of royal purple cars, they look great, cant wait to see the old girl looking like new again.

Thanks heaps, the more I see of it the more I like it, we were worried about going back to the original colour but did'nt think we would be doing the car any justice to choose a different colour, now seeing these pictures I am really happy with the colour. Thanks once again.
