Did you try Budnik as well ? They are local here at least so might save a little time with getting them to me once made in comparison to Billet Specialties. Just a thought anyways

Have you ever sent diff centres over for forum members? Or more specifically, not an entire centre with gears but just a tru-trac or similar?
I'd be keen to know if there is money to be saved or not, absolutely itching to get myself a 9" Eaton tru-trac (31 spline) to replace my mini spool in the LX.
Cheers,
Brett.

I was told they are making $175k plus a year....for a lot of them.
Not sure how they get by..
So far it has just been a "work slow down" here at the ports of LA and Long Beach (side by side...and the busiest ports in the USA) but the past 3 days, and including tomorrow it has been a stop work all along the western US coast apparently.
There are bunchs of ships lined up along the coast stuck and no able to load or unload.
Hopefully they'll sign the new contracts! At the moment I have heard that things will be a week or two behind leaving on time.
Still will load and hopefully things get sorted out, makes for a hassle for sure! (Let alone for all the fresh food, etc that is stuck wth going bad..)

With the american dollar skyrocketing they might be out of their 175k jobs pretty soon, I stopped buying stuff from the states as at the moment all the stuff I'm interested in is just not worth it anymore. Hope this US dollar inflation hasn't slown down your business.

I've been at this for a while and the dollar going up and down is just part of it... it was below 50 cents, and I was still loading away with stuff...and it was $1.10 or what ever...and every where in the middle. Just a matter of rolling along with it. And even in the 70's, there is still usually a decent price difference on many things. (Not always, but on many things)

I'm looking for a 68-72 vette convertible and a 65 mustang convertible at the moment but states are just not worth the hassle with current conversion pricing. They seem to be around the same price here and I can go and have a look at them here instead of buying cat in a bag cheap respray resto cars, so yes some things aren't worth it anymore.

No kidding ! But the unions seem to control it all, and they want more...175K U.S wow. They should stop the whinging and get back to work.
And yes, some good things there too for the money. Like I said, not everything is always a deal, but it depends on just what stuff people are chasing and where here you find them. Being on the ground makes a bit of a difference in lots (but not all of course) cases.
I think another thing that will happen, is prices there will slowly go up on some things as well, as people realize they will have to replace the stuff at the higher dollar, not at what they might have bought the "stuff" at.

Yes I do agree that some thing will go up here in price but not US cars, they already have a tough time selling them at current pricing.
