I've just been sending messages actually to some of the guys with stuff in my last batch of containers, it's all starting to turn up now :D (still have more to come in another week or so...)

As for how much time you have left now...Friday would be good...Monday would be last thing as it stands...so it's getting kinda late now is all, better hurry

Figure the 10th of November for a cutoff... If you get them here sooner, I will get them into sooner containers of course as well!

Looks like I will be loading through out the month of March. (we've got a bit of deals lining up already to keep busy  ) Probably a couple containers early in the month to get a few things on the way and then just keep loading mid/later in the month.

Have room for any sort of stuff big or small..

LS1 what would the cost to ship a waterski boat and trailer to Melbourne?

Cost would be about $35,000 US. It would be brand new boat. Not sure if that makes any difference.

Cheers Macka

Moot....$600 to land the engine and no worries to ship it or the wheels either of course.

Macka...little hard for me to quote as boats vary so much in size. I really need to know exactly how wide the boat is across the beam, along with length as well. A general picture would help a bit too. Just as a guess, if it's 20 foot or under and narrow enough to fit in easily (last wakeboard boat I did was 91" wide from memory) you would be looking at around $6000 in freight only ,plus assorted taxes. But if you let me know some more accurate specs on the boat I can let you know a total landed price !

Something like a boat I'd want to know pretty soon on so I could plan ahead with another container to have a spot for it.

As well, on trailers, you need to make sure the original manufactures information label is still on it as well..shouldn't be a problem for something new or as new, but just a little heads up in general.

Starting to load the first container this Friday, then will be loading a bunch more over the next 3 or 4 weeks...so will be pretty busy, but will still be around if anyone has any thing to get across.

On big stuff like a boat or what not, the earlier you holler about it, the easier of course so I can plan a spot for it.

Thanks all who I've sent stuff over for before (and have stuff for now) :D

What year model is it? Remember it has to be pre-1988 to be able to import it...

No problem then...assuming it's still pretty small (a fair bit smaller than a "normal" bike) I'd ship it there for $1000 - 1200. (once I saw the actual size of it) You'd have to get it from my mate's place near Melbourne of course yourself would be all. That is just freight.. GST/duty would just depend on the cost of the bike.

G'day Jeff,

Are guitars something that can be shipped easily, and if so, is it expensive.

If they are bought second hand through US ebay, do you know anything about the duty payable at this end?

Cheers

Peter

Guitars are easy...and would not be too dear as they are not too large of course. And yes, you are up for GST and a bit of duty depending on what they cost..

I'll just give you a total landed price though so there is nothing else for you to worry about doing or paying. Just get them from my mate when he unloads the containers and pay then for them)
