No prob...if it was something a little more simple and sized differently, could do it better of course hope you understand too. (or if you had wanted to buy a few of them, I might be able to work out a package deal if I could stack them somehow ?

G'day mate, I'm looking at importing a set of four(4) BMW steel rims from the US but the seller won't ship them here, he'l only ship them to the lower 48 states.
Any chance he could send them to you, then you send them over in a container for me? They're US $95ea which is about AU $415 all up. So what would that cost to land them here in Lilydale ?

Cheers Nig.

No problem at all on shipping them..my next big batch of containers will be in Oct/through November...but there is a chance I might be doing a single one in September, just waiting to see what deals might be working out. And be a couple hundred all up to land those sitting in Lilydale for you.

Just a heads up, if anyone needed anything shipped...looks like I am going to be doing an 'in between' container the first week of September...(My next big batch will be late October and November).   Have room for anything big or small at this point. :)

No problem at all..  (might be cheaper , but the small flat rate box is usually about as cheap as it gets sending anything there aside from cards/envelopes/etc )

Hi Jeff,

I've just bought a Chevy C10 pickup, It is in Arizona and cost me USD$7600.

Do you have room for it in your container? I am able to organise transport to your shipping depot on the coast this week.

What would you charge - landed in Lilydale?

Thanks mate!

Jack.

No problem at all...if you could get me the truck pretty quickly, I will get it in this container for you.  You would be up for a total of AU$5000, that is total...all up sitting in Lilydale ready to go. (that is the freight, gst, and import approval)  The only other thing you could be up for is if it fails quarantine and needs steam cleaning and recheck. Aside from that..it would be $5000 all up, no more. (if the dollar gets any better, I might be able to shave a little bit off)

I would need a couple pics and the title straight away to get going with the import approval..

(and I assume it is a pre-1988 truck of course for all that?)

PS. I assume you know about stuff needing to be basically stock for when you apply for the import approval as well ?  Things like modified suspension, engine swaps, etc... usually trucks are pretty stock so did not mention it first off . (since I don't know what the truck is you have bought that is, just mentioning it now)

If you would like to do something with the truck, just let me know ASAP if you could please, so I can get things going for it (and will leave the spot in the container for it)

Thanks :D

Change your mind perhaps, or go a different route?   Just let me know if you could, so I know to make other plans for the one spot in the container or not (since time is getting short to get going with import applications, etc). Thanks !

Jeff, sorry for taking a while to reply! I've been stuffing around with this seller and haven't been back on the forum.

The deal has stalled somewhat.. I bought it on eBay, but the guy is real old school and paranoid about selling to someone overseas.. wants me to organise a cash payment for him etc.. I'm not sure where it's going to end up.

At this stage I can't say for sure if it will go ahead or not, so won't ask you to keep the spot in the container. I'll let you know otherwise.
