now if everyone interested can go over these and see if there is anything you need to attend to as you still have some time.
its pretty basic stuff but any questions none are dumb ask away.
as i was saying before i wont organise the official list and bank acc until the 1/9 and the cutoff date and payments will be as per the guidelines for dealing with wsid.
thanks again neil for going to the trouble of posting the regs.

what club keith? why cant they just diary enter it and off you go .its not as if you are making it up .but anyway good luck with it.
the only way out could be for me to officially invite your club then it can be done.

what club keith? why cant they just diary enter it and off you go .its not as if you are making it up .but anyway good luck with it.

i am organising the gmh-torana forum drag day at wsid on the 22/10/2011.
It is my understanding that some cars that wish to attend are historically registered via your club and i would like to know if you could possibly sanction this as a club event so that those members with historic registration via stc can attend.
i would also like to extend an invitation for stc members to participate or attend on the day.

Who is Mr Alfa Romeo?
All it takes for a run to be sanctioned is the committee agreeing that a run is a sanctioned SIV (club rego) event. Well, thats how it works up here. I get calls from members wanting to go out to Lakeside etc so I just send an email to the committee, get a couple of people to ok it and off we go. So long as it is gazetted in the newsletter or club run sheet its sweet.
To make things easier for the committee and members we have stipulated that any event held at Willowbank, Queensland Raceway or Lakeside is a sanctioned run. Works well for us.
