Howdy,

Just a quick question, do LH Sedans have child restraint anchor points in the parcel shelf? If so, are there 3?

Cheers,

T

I dont think the LH has them LX and on do.

If it has them there will be 3 plugs in the rear parcel shelf left, center and right the pug is pushed into the retaining nut for the seat harness

Not on an LH, I looked into it. I think you can have them fitted, but due to having bigger speakers in my parcel shelf, I never had it done. I think LX hand them as mentioned before.

I belive there was 2 in my LX i could not tell about the center one as some tool had mounted a Sub there at some stage. My 1975 parts car has 3 plugs in the parcel shelf but its not here to check for mounts atm
I had to move the passengers seat foward on the bolts to fit the rear facing seat.
Iv got some pics fitted

When the baby seat was foward facing passengers front seat could be placed back 2 bolt holes where it spose to be

LH should still have three plugs holding the parcel shelf in Tony, but may not have the nuts welded underneath.

You'll just need high tensile nuts to suit the bolts you get with the mount and use the large washers top and bottom if this is the case.

You may struggle to get three seats/capsules across the rear seat, but if at least one is just for a harness it will work.

Do LX hatches have them? My brothers UC hatch didn't have them. I had to make them. Seems a bit slack of holden : P

Yes mate LX hatch has two, One on either side on the flat section behind the rear seat and in front of the lift up board for the spare.

That's where I put the ones in my brothers car. Seems weird that it didn't have them already????

Thanks for all the helpful replies fellas. Looks like I will have to get the nuts welded in (although it may not be technically necessary it will be for the missuses piece of mind). Off to google to see who can do this in Brisbane.

@Grant - Three baby seats across !! Bloody hell I hope not, one little tacker is a pleasure, two will be manageable but three of them and my hair will start falling out....oh wait, hang on, thats already happened :D

I have just had my second, so it will still be a while before kids will be going in my Torry. (Cant take one and not the other!)
Talk to the Red Cross, I think they are fairly well tied up in this sort of thing and may have an idea

What date is the car?
Once he's forward facing, shift it to the passenger side if possible.

She who must be obeyed will thank you.
