Is it an EJ or an EH?
His is an EJ
Questions kinda across the board with both of them.
The sedans are different and i would assume the ute used a sedan floor pan so you would think they would be different as in the sedan, will make a call when he answers his phone
Phillip
Yea well the guy we saw today at the ej ej show in canberra was certain that the tunnel on the automatics wer larger than the ones on the manual then he gets another guy saying the same then 2 others tell him its a load of crap.
Kinda hard to figure something out when you have so many people telling you different things.
They also said you can fit a supra in the automatic stock standard cars with out modifications but the manual ones you needed to modify (not sure if this was ute sedan or wagon)
thanks

Theres a lot of differences between the EH and EJ comercials, besides one being grey motor and the other a red.
Scuttle is different, fuel filler (EJ has a door),the trim on the ends of the dash.
Lots of subtle differences.

yes auto and manual cars had different floor pans.
If you use an auto car you can bolt aussie 4 speed or trimatic straight in a and use the original tailshaft.

my Auto hump took alot of belting and shaping to fit supra box and it still hits when startin the motor. but i think the celica and corona 4 speeds fit without modification
same problem with celica 5 speed boxs, they foul the floor and and also hit on starting motor..
i heated up floor pan and modified to suit...
also seen 4 speeds into a 3 speed tunnels but lots on cutting braces down and rewelding
braces to pass rego, best to start with auto floor pan........love me ehs!!!
