Doin a resto on my LH, im thinking of spraying her black or silver, leaning toward black but was jus wondering if anyone can post some pics of a black or silver LH/LX so i can see how they look, cheers.

The bodywork will have to be spot on with black.............with silver you'll get away with a bit more.

i agree.The bodywork will have to be spot on with black.............with silver you'll get away with a bit more.
but also keep in mind that black is an absolute pain in the arse to keep clean!!!! I recently bought a black motorbike and i always have to keep cleaning it as the smallest amount of dust makes it look like it hasnt been washed in years! you will get the shits big time!

I'll go with some pics they might be hard to keep clean but they can look so impressive black...
so these two are not LH's and have the wrong amount of doors but they might help you envisage it...
not the best pic but only one I've got of this one...
and this one is a big favorite of mine...
and same car with it's other scoop on...

Cheers rana girl!! thoes pictures were hugely helpful! this tori is almost exactly what im lookn to create! minus the wheels, mine will have black rims and no hood scoop

Actually Freddy your correct it does he gave up trying to convince me a while ago that tech it was green because it's black! However will admit that second last photo of it I posted if you know to look for it you can see the green tint...
No problem at all Josh... there has got to be more people lurking around with pics of black ones... If you have a look through the "garage" might help(I just went in there and selected to do a colour search and 7 pages came up not all of them were fully black though think it gave me any that said blackouts too). Maybe in the projects threads too one that springs to mind is another hatch but check out Blackdice - http://www.gmh-toran...__hl__blackdice
this one I posted above goes into "stealth mode" when he runs it at the drags puts black rims on. It's another not great pic but to give you an idea of the all black look...

When loading pics please link them from offsite pages
Or reduce them to more managable sizes (500kb or less)

Just removed bmp so they can't be loaded
But can't seem to restrict size yet

One of these might help man.
ACP > Members > Manage User Groups > (edit the group) > 'global' tab > 'Uploading'
'Per Post Upload Limit'
ACP -> Management -> Manager User Groups -> GLOBAL: Max total global file space for all uploads (Inc. PMs and posts) (in KB)
If not and depending on how or who the forum is hosted with you many need to edit the .htaccess file or php.ini file.
I know its fairly easy to do on phpbb as Ive done it on the qtcc forum but Im not too sure about IPboard.
Anyway, back on topic heres another black torana

Hi Grover... Yes he did same day I posted those pics... I'm still sulking
im lovin the black, not so much the silver!
There is a silver one on here somewhere that is massively hot... I remember amongst the thread on it there was some photos from a magazine photo shoot but I can't remember what the car was called hopefully someone will come along and link it up...
now i just need to decide flares or no flares.
Guess that depends a bit on if you want to cut it... rust/damage in the wheel arch of the rear guards would make the decision an easy one... You got a project thread somewhere for the car in question?

Yeah it has gone to a good home. Unfortunately I have to change a few things to get it re-registered. The cage is out, the nitrous has to go, the windows have to have legal tint fitted.....not happy about that one. This will be my third black 308 LH/LX, but its been 17 years since the last one. I wont be changing much, but a boot spoiler is on the cards. TTO.......no he didn't mention that ?
