Should be right. I forgot to add that I had 21/2 inch lowered springs at back with rolled gaurds and was sweet even with people in the back.

my old LX was running 245/50/14 with only rolled gaurds and they never scrubbed on the gaurd but they did rub on the shock if i hooked in to a corner :buttrock:

Don't forget it depends on rim offset. A 245 may fit on one type of rim but on another a 235 might be to big.

Yeh, I had no flairs. I can't remember the off set of the rims, but can find out in need be as my mate bought them for his FJ ute.

I ran 245 50 14 on the back of my hatch with the guards rolled standard width diff and zero offset 8in wide rim never rubbed anywhere and no issues at all looked good too even later when i fitted flares I kept the same wheels and tires fronts were 215 60s which did take a bit of work as would foul on seam on fire wall but I removed the seam and braced it on the inside

Managed to get the majority of the paint stripped off the grille using M.E.K. I finished it off using the soda blaster at work with the pressure turned down really low!!! Gave it a hit with plastic adhesion primer, then 2 pac satin!

Hit the nail on the head mate!!! A forum member has gone far beyond.... and has helped me out tremendously and made this up for me!!!!! This was another bit of the car that was missing and I could not justify spending $1000 on a replacement.... It does the job.

And John, no mate... your build is at a much higher standard then mine mate!
