Brad, thats the correct pre-pollution 308 manifold suitable for your car with the
auto choke spring in that housing-heated by the exhaust manifold.

Thanks for the positive feedback Hayden! Appreciate it.

Clint, the carpet is from Knox and so is the underlay. Im pretty happy with the fit actually. I had read comments over the years that moulded carpets were never much chop.... (Ive always started from scratch) but I think the fitment is pretty good actually!

Great looking build Hanra. Your detail to the smallest of things is amazing and deserves a bit pat on the back.
Top stuff and have a good christmas.
cheers Dan

Great job brings back memories. Mate if I can give one advice, that is, unless you know already, seat brackets need to be bolted to metal portion of floor.
If you have the original carpet you will see what I mean. The carpet has cuts and cut outs for this very reason.
The reason for this is so that the seat is secured, metal on metal. You should apply a small amount of chalking compound to ensure that no water comes up from the bolt thread. If you bolt the seat bracket on the carpet, there is a chance that the carpet will squash down and the seat will no longer be secured. Could be an issue in an accident.

I believe that in some states it could be an issue is going over the pits.

Keep up the great work

Ahhhhhhh, thank you very much for the tip!!!!! I did notice that the carpet has obvious places for where the seat brackets go. Ill make a small incision and allow the bracket to slip through and be metal on metal!

Good one John!

Sure did John. And yes very happy with them although I don't know what the originals looked like exactly. The go on well and seem good quality. Time will tell I guess.

Thanks again for pointing this out to me John. Made some slits in the carpet to allow the rail mount to fit into neatly so it will be metal on metal.

Cheers.

What type of pile did you get Brad, plush, classic or there standard, I think the classic is similar to what the cars came with.

HI Paul, I just went with the Standard loop pile. I think it was $130 for front/rear? It seems fine. I also bought the underfelt from Knox also. The moulded carpet seems to fit very well.
