I just thought of it because I was loading a container today and gotta finish it tomorrow...lemme see if it's light enough to dig out the radiator real quick for a pic, the 6 one at least.

It seems kinda small, so thought it might have been different, but been ages since I remember what the original 253 from my car even looked like.

(I did dig around for the V8 one, and no luck, but I wouldn't have tossed it I'd reckon, and when I sent the white one back there to sell I had used the aluminum one out of my red hatch.)

Hmmmm....

And for the life of me, I can't figure out where the old v8 one went ?

This 6 one is different I reckon ,it has a small metal plate to cover the top of the fan blade attached to the radiator where the V8 one has that seperate little piece (I still have that at least, lol)

I'm concerned about it sitting to close to the fan? And not sitting flush with the upper rad support panel?

No problem! :)

I would have done it this morning, but I took off first thing to try and get the container finished before it got too hot/humid out

Got a hold of the correct cast exhaust flanges for mounting the stock system to the headers.

Posted Image

Was also missing this little bracket, ball end and return spring for my rochy. Hume Performance helped out there!

Posted Image

Got the correct little brake booster hose clamps.

Now making a start on the engine bay wiring harness.

Hey Brad you are doing one crazy arse job on your SLR ! Awesome m8!
I'm only saying this because you are being so anal with making sure the right thing goes here and there but I'm pretty sure the brake prop valve doesn't sit up like you have it in the engine bay. It kind of lays on a 45 forward of where you have it. Personally I like where you have it. Correct me if I'm wrong people. Once again Brad , top job !

Cool man.

Yeah I just fitted it in a spot where the rear hard line fitted up the bum of it it comfortably. From what I can tell the rear hard line has never been replaced and it all looked original.

This was the original setup which to me all looked original?
