Thank you very much for the positive comments guys. Great feeling to be actually legally going for a drive. Credit to the members of this forum for making this happen.

I've already used your build for reference to get bits and pieces done on Tracie's car, so I'm grateful that you took the time to document the build and post it here and looking forward to the next project.

Are you going to do another Torana?
Maybe something modified this time....with your attention to detail it could be amazing!

Appreciate all the kind words guys. Looks like the wet season is approaching us quickly.... not sure how much driving Ill get a chance to do....
Wont be building another Torana. I was thinking along the lines of something American perhaps? Dodge Charger? Camaro? It would be nice to do a HK/T/G Monaro also. I really need to give it some serious thought as I thought about just starting with an engine first. But need to decide Holden/Chev/Mopar?
The thought even crossed my mind to take the Mini back to original'ish also.... ditch the custom interior, big stereo and big racing seats, get back to basics.

1970 Plymouth Barracuda 440 6 pack 4 speed. Purple, Green or Orange.
Just be careful thou it may suck your Mini in through its air cleaner if its idling next to it.
Just my suggestion...

Looks unreal. Your perfectionism really shows even just in the photos. Sorry if my comments a while back regarding getting it buffed were a bit negative. Looks like the bloke did a pretty perfect job.

I have to say it takes some getting used to the back spoiler black on black as mine is black with the silver insert but once again brad it looks excellent

May as well build a pergola in your back yard to look at if your never going to drive it like the other 2 !! ... hehe
Now if the roads are so bad up there your afraid/unable to drive it... build something you can use based on your surroundings
How about some custom 4x4 overlander or something
You've done the restore thing ... try something custom

I thought the A9X had the silver insert in the rear spoiler?

Bingo. That's why there is NO modified/classic car scene up here. Example: The Ford and Holden clubs have had to join forces to hold a combined Ford/Holden day due to lack of participants in the individual Ford or Holden days.
I'm just trying to keep the dream alive.

Hey Brad. Good to see the car up and running, we have all learned a little about the restoration process thanks to this thread.
Also to get a documented build like that is great reading.
I see your letter to the editor in AMC magazine. Would be good to keep the forum updated with what comes of it...
Cheers.
