Very cool, now get some black etch and spray the outside of the radiator support panel, ie behind the grill, under the wheel arches, and the like post haste.

Cheers.

Hi Bomber, I had considered doing that, and in the end if if was a road car I would paint those areas black. My theory is if I leave it white I would be able to see any leaks or any grease from a part that might be failing. Easy to spot that sort of stuff on a white surface.
I am considering doing the rad support panel as that wouldn't be a spot for grease or oils. And it would look heaps better.

Actually your reason for leaving the underbody and wheel arches white is rather sound....

But dattos retort is equally sound.... White is a bitch, shows up EVERYTHIG

Now im undecided haha.

LOL, that comment could be in the thread about shit Torana owners never say, or in his case "stuff Torana owners WIVES never say", why don't you bring your car into the living room dear for all the family to enjoy and admire".
Don't think that'll happen anytime soon LOL.

Cheers Bomber, will have to get some tomorrow. I was also talking to Welby and he said the same.

Looking good man

Cheers Clint. Pretty happy in the end with the panel work. I certainly know what I would try next time. It's been a great learning experience doing the panel work by myself.
When I catch up with you next, just promise me you won't look to close, LOL.

Had to move the inside door handle as it would clash with the roll cage in the original position.
Works a treat.

How'd you know that that was the theme I going to use on the car?? Did I mention that earlier??
That's the intent anyway, to base it loosely on the HDT 1976 colours.

Hey Hey Craig,

How'd you know that that was the theme I going to use on the car?? Did I mention that earlier??
That's the intent anyway, to base it loosely on the HDT 1976 colours.

I have been in Strife in the past from not reading the Material,

so I did some Research on your Build ( very impressive work done ),

and I set out to say something better this Time, now you are getting close.

here is the Main one:-

post-6157-0-66612700-1388743232.jpg

http://www.gmh-toran...-20#entry800262

Quote - I constantly look at photo's of this car, its a massive inspiration for me to get this thing done.

It is also similar to what I want my car to be painted up like. It's more than tough!!! - End Quote

That is where you said it, and when you are doing a White back ground, I put 1 and 1 together and here we are. Dave I

It is going to be a Master Piece
