You know you aren't far from being right for a different reason. I have 480mm from centre bolt to outside of rim. It's 490mm from centre of chassis rail bolt hole to inner of flare!!
Good thing it's only a 225 tyre on a 8" rim.
Im gunna come round with a white spray can and paint that mirror for ya
You don't like the poo brown mirror???
Guess I better get it done,

When you turn the wheel with then 225's on an 8 inch rim you'll likely catch the front edge of that flare and the inside of the rear one too.
Been through the same thing with 225's on 8" rims before although your flares don't curve down as much as mine did on the front edge. Mine were almost vertical :(

Hoses on, not an easy job.
Some rubber grommets around the hose going through the fire wall would really finish this off nice Mr Peeler.

Hi Brad, I had thought of fitting grommets but I drilled the holes 0.5mm under OD of hose to get a tight fit. They were a bitch to thread through. Figured that would be ok.
Update on stuff, no photo's though.
Been working on some bits and shits, got the door locks on the front doors fitted, fitted the stalk for the door locks LOL.
I caught up with 355LX on the weekend, was great to catch up and shoot the breeze. Very excited to hear about the Pro Touring idea for his new project.
He also offer some used 225 45 16" rubber from his Targa days for me to use to fit up on my car. Very appreciative mate.
I have re-ordered some parts that I got wrong a few years back.
On order is:
Quicktime 6036 Bellhousing
Tilton 51-4452 168 tooth Flywheel.
ATL 80 litre foam fuel tank FIA approved.
What I will have for sale is:
Quicktime 6010 Bellhousing
Tilton 153 tooth Flywheel
Tilton Super Starter
All those parts will suit a SBC. The bellhousing mates to Saginaw, Muncie, Richmond, Tremec TKO
So if you know anyone who is building a SBC, let them know about these parts??

Interesting time I'm having with the Clutch disc pack as well.
Tilton think that between manufacturers 1 1/8 and 1 5/32 Clutch input shaft diameter can be the same thing.... WTF??
The clutch input shaft on my Jerico is 26 spline by 1 1/8" or 1.125". How would a clutch disc with 26 spline by 1 5/32" fit??
Anyone know something I don't........

Hi Craig,
not sure about the splines fitting, but this Link, shows the Nominal O.D being the same:-
http://www.powertrai... Pack 7.25.html
so maybe, they just got mixed up with one and not the other
edit,
just re-read the other bit, looks like they can both come in 26 spline, and both have the same O.D., but we would have to ask for that

Maybe they can refer to either dimension and they are the same, doesn't make sense though cause there not.

That is Strange indeed Craig,
was thinking nothing would come up, but Bingo it did.
Interesting link, thanks for that Dave. Funny that they have Jerico in the line that shows both.

Well done Dave , the info you found is true!! Good stuff mate.
I have just had confirmation from Jerico that 1 1/8" and 1 5/32" are the same. Who would have guessed.
So I'm good now to go ahead and order the Clutch disc pack.

All parts I have ordered are on the way.
Bellhousing
Fuel tank
Clutch disc pack
Fly wheel 168T
Painted a few things today, bumper brackets and headlight backs. Boring, no pictures.
What is worthy of a picture is the diff. I finally got round to unpacking it! Only taken 4 months. How tough is that.
When a few things like tyres on rims, getting stings and shocks for the rear and getting bushes in the trailing arms in, I will bang it in snd get the measurement needed for the watts.

Nice Diff Craig... What are the mounts for that the cradle is bolted to? Swaybar?

Hi Clint, those brackets will be part of the 3rd link arm that will be manufactured later.

Oh I see... Look forward to seeing that, so the upper arm mounts wont be used or the lower?

Lower arms will be used, upper arms will be made redundant. Uppers will be installed as per rules but the bush will be sponge.
There is a bracket under the centre of the diff, the plan is to run some SHS from that bracket up to the gearbox mount. The arm will follow the length go the tail shaft. The brackets I used for the stand in the picture will be used to strengthen the arm. May not need it, not sure. I have seen one that did it that way. Easier to have the bracket and not need it than to need it and not have it.

Been doing bits and shits and boring stuff so I've been eating lots of cake and avoiding doing any work or jumping on the scales. No point taking photos of that!!

What rear discs and calipers did you settle on?
Those rear wheel studs look wider then your racing taxi's rims/tyres. ...... LOL

The caliper is an AP Racing CP5200 and a CP3580 295 dia 28mm thick disc.
LOL, long studs they are.

You didn't want to add adjustment to your diffs lower trailing arm mounts? That way you can fine tune your rear IC and squat. Fine tuning your f/r weight transfer gives you that drive esp out of corners. Also depending on your 3rd arm/watts set-up you can really make a live axle not so bad with the right rear IC range adj.

Would love to mate, that's what I would love to be able to do. Haven't seen that before though, you built that yourself? You didn't want to add adjustment to your diffs lower trailing arm mounts? Unfortunately the rules of IP won't let me modify that from standard. Will have a look again as it's been a while since I looked at that part of the rules.
