Craig before my retirement my whole life was in Mining. Believe me even at my age it still irritates the cr#p out of me how we never make anything with our amazing raw products. Everything from iron ore to wheat and wool etc ...... all Australia ever does is sell raw products for peanuts and buy it back for triple (after the importing country value adds).

You would swear with aviation etc that we should be able to make a fuel cell but our wages and costs of everything in Oz just puts us way out of whack with the rest of the world.

Couldn't agree more with that Col. With all our raw product in Australia, you would think that we would be in the box seat for manufacture or pre and post processing of raw material. Yet we sell it to nations who have none of their own, and then we buy it back.

This subject makes my blood boil. I wonder if it's too late to reverse the damage to our local industry. Our policy makers have no vision or no clue about planning for the future.

Australians wouldn't have the common sense to vote in a visionary because they would loose all the handouts as the political party tried to pull the county back into line. To fix what we have destroyed over the decades would take real pain and Australians just don't want to do that and would rather vote for idiots like Clive Palmer who has no idea about the real world. All Palmer knows is because of the fools who voted he holds enough power to get his idiotic face on tv to say stupid stuff that a 15yo wouldn't say.

Australians should start learning Chinese because the way its going we will be run by China the way we are going. The Chinese are way too smart for dumb Australians who can't see the trees through the forest. Not my problem any-more as I will be long gone and have grown sick of how this country has gone downhill into a cesspool sewer of corruption, greed and self interest. Maybe old KRudd might have another go at the top job (because he speaks Mandarin) as Australia deserves to be back running under such a brain storm. What a joke this once great nation has become all because we allowed ourselves to get lazy, greedy and out of step with the rest of the world all wrapped up in our own little bubble of contempt and ignorance.

Sorry Craig that's enough on that. It just shit's me to death what's happened in Oz.

Still could be worse I could wake up in the morning and my Hatchbacks have all grown two extra doors each. ...... LOL

Cheers Greg, appreciate the comment. The body work is ok for a race car, I have learned a heap and if I do a road car in the future it will be a lot better.

Ha ha, I was waiting for that, nice pick up Clint. Love your new avatar picture by the way, very cool.
After seeing what you have been doing in your thread I've got no doubt that you would have done a cracker job with my car if I sent it your way.

Used this tool to align the splines in the clutch discs, pretty simple but effective.

Got 5mm clearance between clutch fingers and top of the bearing, as per the install instructions. Had to space the base with 2 washers.

LOL

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink. Before you take the photo's grab the compressed air line (and a blow nozzle) and get rid of all the cake crumbs before you take the photo's. LOL

Looking good Craig.

But I must say when it comes to racing the young Daniel Ricciardo weighed in at 67Kgs last week and with all your excessive cake eating and the body bog via shovel loads your starting weight might not be so competitive. May I suggest it might pay to avoid public disclosure of your race weigh (might save you going from white to cherry red) ....... LOL
