Looking good Craig.........car that is!

Cheers Darky, it's great when I get a good run at it and get somewhere, frustration when it sits idle and no movement.
Looking good for progress in the next few weeks.

Bullshit Outer, they never ran a 202.

i was of the understanding that the 72 LJ XU1 used a 202 albiet modified ,well you learn every day bomber as i am the first to admit i don.t know everything about the boy,s cars. the subject was the a9x 2dr compared to l34 4 dr

The Hatches would still be trying to finish their first race if it wasn,t for the fact they took pity on them and allowed them to use a real engine out of a 4 door none the less

 Sorry mate was quoting this?

Yes the really really fast 4 door cars are the 4 door little ones, but all the 202 slower cars that ran at bathurst were two door type things, they fitted a veeate for no apparent reason to the really slow 4 door things that were slighty faster than the hatch cars a bit later, thought you were talking about those ones.

Time to butcher the engine mount. It's a shit I didn't mount the rack earlier, wouldn't have this problem now.

looking good craig, itching to see you hit the track.

just some info on those heater hoses, generally if your planning racing or track work you delete the coolant bypass hose and drill a small hole in the thermostat.

at rpm on track the coolant can flow in the path of least resistance, which can be bypass hose, so you loose cooling efficiency from it not going through radiator.

it has been known to cause overheating issues.

Cheers Daz, should catch up again sometime? Saw you at Targa on Langley Park, was there in the car display. You looked busy, just about to get back in your car when I saw you. Thought it best not to drop in. Your car looked great out there on Riverside Drive, nice driving.

Will look at the heater hose situation, don't need overheating.
Catch you soon mate,

Fitted mechanism and motor. Have got the arms loose till I work out the rotation.
Anyone know where to get good wiper assemblies and blades to suit Toranas in Perth? 5e7upe5e.jpgapyvu6yr.jpgymagenud.jpg

Hi Laurie, yes you can mate. It's a screw adjustable watts link, you can see the thread coming out of the top of the triangle. I wont need to get under the car to adjust it.

Definitely up for that Neil.
Had a bit of interest in a catch up on the Saturday before GM Owners day in November from the 40th L34 thread. Maybe that could be the go?
