I wonder if the walkinshaw inlet has more rear clearance?
Dizzy was a pain to put back in , guessing there's less clearance in a torana...

Got tired of pulling the pump off the VH & finally mounted the astra electrical pwr steer pump on the GSE in front of the drivers tyre.

Undecided on what the color the car will be,
Panorama silver
Anthracite
Hrt black & white
Made the shortlist.
But rims will stay silver for panorama paint.
Black rims for black paint etc

Rims are "different" but should suit the Euro look of that time.

I sold the HDT momos, they just seemed to small (16x7)

then I sold the C4 salad tossers (16x8.5 fronts with 225 were ok , but the rear were too wide for offset)

I put the 17x10s rs reps on for a few pics , looked cool / stanced , but would require more effort to blend in with the Walky kit?

Walky rims look too small 16x7, the new 20" redesign looks too big.

Personally I think the Tri spokes are the best wheel HSV made - they look cool on VL to VZ (even Stato's

 

 

things Ive pretty much locked in for this budget build

- has to be injected - haven't owned one before (pertrol)

- has to be manual

- A/C - for the Mrs

- Calais headlight panel - vl's look too camira without it..

- No chrome - the GSE kinda looks cool without it, annother reason for painted wheels 

- Walky front & rear bumpers - not sure how the side kits will work IRL (most 2doors Ive seem don't have widebody bits on the doors, but willing to give it a go)
