With the 304 and t5 conversion in the vauxall, whick gearbox crossmember did you use? & did you have to drill holes to bolt it up?

The crossmember is yet to be done, but it will be custom-made.

pulled the gear box off the efi 5L motor the other day & looks like Im up for a new clutch. flywheel should machine up ok.
Searching online it seems there are diference with clutchs between VN - Vs, why im not sure something about flywheel pcd?
Can anyone recomend a good replacement clutch?
Phil - Im on the look out for a Wagon fuel tank, are VN - Vs wagon tanks the same?
if not which 1 will fit the Monza?

I know sedan tanks will bolt in, but sure about the wagon. Logic would say yes, however the filler neck is different & will need to be modified. If you can find an EFI VK or VL 6-cyl tank it will be a simpler process.
ps. Good to hear you're making progress.

The fuel tank that came out the vs ute is in really good condition, but i guess they should be as they are protected from the element better then the others. 1st time ive seen one.
I wonder if they are the same as sedan?

Oops, I didn't make that very clear. Yes, you need a wagon tank. A VN - VS Commodore sedan tank will go in a VB - VL Commodore, so I was guessing a VN - VS wagon tank would go in the Monza, apart from the need to modify the filler. Just a guess though. The VK or VL tank is a sure thing, but maybe if you go to a wrecker you can have a look. Sorry for the confusion.
ok, i thought because of the spare wheel compartment a wagon tank had to used?.

But my plan was to maybe use the sender & pump off the vs v8 ute tank.
If never owned an injected car before nor seen a internal pump 1st hand.
It almost looks the v6 & v8 pump are the same..
