hi Mate,
yeah went well we didnt take the winners dough home though hehe. think we went 9.73 @136 at meremere was good for some old gurus to actually see our car as alot of them had herd about it.we also had pre aranged to get another set of blank heads of Garth hogan while we were there. Deano and his wife looked after us like u would not beleive. i still have to send them an email as ive been busy here.
we ran 9.64 @138mph at masterton it was g8 aswell the car is yet to arrive in brisbane atm but look everything went well.
we are now in the progress of building another chassis for it cro moly this time and im now getting further involved with the engine as we are going to build another one over time a friend has kindly given us some container space from texas to gladstone for nothing so we have some more parts coming for it hehe.
here are some pics waiting to drive it at the beach hop in the rain.
this is how they traveled around the truck driver was slim he was really good and his young bloke slim jr went well to.our renta in the back ground what a dung barge that was.

Glad to hear mate, it was a shame I couldn't go up for a look as I love the nostalga stuff better than anything in all forms of motorsport.
Talking of Garth Hogan, I was just sent a youtube link of him at our track in the 70's you might like

LOL at you driving a sub.. They are highly regarded by the boyracers here but they usually end up being a money pit.
