Scuff plates are only sitting in place, not sure yet how i will fix them in place. Might urathane them down to get that clean look of no screws.
Also i spoke with reg today, door handle's have arrived and are being sent to me asap. shoud see them mid next week.
once i have them in i can wet rub the paint for that flat smooth look and buff it all up like glass.
Ordered new holley black pump yesterday and reg for a lft pum as the second bosh pum was too much and over riding the injectors and fouling the plugs.
Might through in a bottle of injector cleaner while i'm at it to help things out.

Found out why the engine has been playing up.
When i changed the lift pump, i found that the diaframe on the old one had shit it's self and has pumped bits of rubber through out the fuel system.
Must be jaming the injectors open and flooding the engine as the plugs are allways wet when i pull them out and clean them.
Once i clean them and put them back in the engine runs well for a bit then starts to miss again and hey presto the plugs are wet again.
Dam it, now i have to drain the tank flush all the fuel lines and get the injectors cleaned.

Started fitting the dash after making a few wireing loums for it.
Have all gauges working except for the speedo and tacko, leaveing them for the auto sparky.

Hooked up the tacko last night. Found that it didn't work.????
rang the mob i got the tacko from today and found that with all late modle cars/engines as i have in mine, the tacko signal output is only a 5 volt signal and the tacko requries a 14 volt signal.
So the long and short of it i need to get a tacko signal amplifier.
Ordered it today from Melbourne as they where only $80 + postage and in Brisbane they range from 140-280 for the same part
(rip off's)
So once i have it the tacko should work fine.
Then the only thing left to hook up is the speedo, that one i'm defentley leaveing for the auto sparky.
The boost gauge show i'm running 8psi at the manifold, so i will be putting that up to 10psi when i put it on the dyno down the track.

Well just a quick update for all.
I have tracked down a set of door and boot locks (but need to get them rekeyed the same)
will be putting them in, in the morning as we are going to sand the whole car with 2000 wet and dry then buff it all over can't wait to see how it looks after i have done it. will add some photo's tomorrow night.
Run it for 35-40 min tonight just to see what temp got upto.
found it got to 80deg inabout 5-10 and only whent to 85 after 35-40 min with fan on and didn't get any hotter.
the dash looks shit hot with all the lights on now that i have fitted it too.

Well got it all buffed and hand polished yesterday looks better then i hoped for.
The photo's don't do the car any justice as it is a light colour.
But you will get an idear of how good it came up thou.

All in all you can get an idear of how well the car came up with the wet rub of 2000 then a buff and hand polish.
