Found that the t shaft is hitting the tunnel near the diff today. so will have to have a look at it with a BFH to change the shape a bit.
Car brakes traction very easy in secound st 40kmh pluss and can hold sideways for upto 50m without trying not good when you want to go fast in a straight line.
1st and second gear over 120m of week spin from a 20kmh start up to over 100kmh fishtailing ( glad i have a test track near by to help sort problems )

Well got the door locks back yesterday, look like new, job well done by the lock smith cost a packet thou ($55 per lock)
But worth every cent.

Put the windscreen squirter on the bonnet looks fantastic ( black dot in centre of bonnet)???
Will be putting the GTR-XU1 decals this week end so i will put some more photos up of the car with them on.
Going to send the wiper arms off to get pollished next week too.
Went to Keith 4 wheels yesterday arvo and borrowed 2 differnt off set rims to work out the off set needed for the front and rear. Fronts are a 45 and the rear are a 18-20 off set.
I had a 18 offset to try on the rear that was an 18x8 and it was perfect on the back space but the outer needed to sit back in by 20mm
So if i get a 20 off set in 17x7.5 should be perfect.

The photo is of the 18x8 with 18 off set on the rear.
Beleave it or not the tyre is a 215/35/18 and its pumped up even thou it looks flat.Just misses the lip by 2mm
Will be running 235/45/17 when i get the rims.

Just a quick update
Well i have been unable to get the rear brakes working 100% only about 55-60% so i have ordered a new master cylinder part number 7470 $150 new so i hope this will fix my brakeing issue.
Should be arrive today or tomorrow.
I will also be pulling the rear springs out and fitting some to lift the car up 20-25 mm in the rear as it's to low tyres are rubbing in the top of the wheel arch near the shock mounting point.

ok quick update.
Fitted new mastercylinder and have found out what i suppected. The brake switch distrubution block also has a prop valve in it.
Off to the brake shop tommorow to get a t peice for the fronts and a straight joiner for the rears. So they are 1 to 1, Should solve all my problems.

Unless its an aftermarket or fitted from another model, the switch is justs a switch, sometimes the little slide can get stuck though, I spent a fair bit of time cleaning and restoing the one in my LJ

Well a quick update
When to the brake shop today and got the parts i needed to delete the lx brake prop valve and just have the lines go straight from the master cylinder to the front and rear calipers.
Wow what a differance i have about half peddal and have good brakes as far as i can tell but a road test is needed to make sure.

Qick update.
Put the car back on the ground today and reversed it out of the shed and tested the brakes in the driveway.
Good peddal and stops really well too.
Changed the rear springs to vs commodore and lifted the back end up.
Was a bit to much thou need to bring it back down about 30-35 mm.
will sit perfectly level then and clear everthing aswell.

Quick update.
Just set up the springs in the rear to achive a level ride height at all 4 corners.
Got top of each wheel arch sitting at 600mm and the tyres just sit up inside the wheel arch to give that musle car stance.
This was acheived by useing the orignal spring and machineing spacers to suit for correct height.
When i get the new wheels in a few weeks time just before x'mas i will add some more photos.
