So i went to see Keith at Keith 4 wheels at Underwood and have came up with a sulution.
Going to go with speedy wheels. in the cheater range with black centres and chrome outers.
have to go with 45 offset front same as std commodore and 35 offset rear std ford offset and run a 15mm adaptor from the commodore pattern to ford patten.
What a pain in the butt

would have to get longer studs tho
Due to the fact that gtr's and xu1 had this option from factory would it be a problem at all????

Can you get custom offset rears made? Or blank so they can be redrilled in commodore pattern?
I thought all spacers were illegal? You might be able to though, as they were used from factory?
I wonder what an engineer would say if your using proper 'hub adapters' instead of 'unbolted spacers'? Could all just be in the wording of them?

But on a liter note it will get there in the end just have wait.
Found out i can't run the wheel adaptors and wheel spacers are not permitted unless they are the ones the car left the factory with so struck out again

Just puttin' it out there...
Could you get custom discs made with a super-thick mounting face and ridiculously long studs? Wouldn't be considered a 'bolt-on' then?
Don't know how you'd achieve a centre point for the wheel to mount on? Being super thick there could be enough room to have a bolt-in centre piece?
OR, Here's yet another idea. Instead of pursuit rims, maybe something like these- widened with the offset changed?
Land Rover 16x7 same as commodore stud pattern. http://www.ebay.com....=item35b2f75d12
There's also 17x7 http://www.ebay.com....=item35b1e0061a

will just have to wait till i can get the ones i want.
Not sure if i will take it up to the car show on the 28th now as the car dose not look how i want it too.
put some 195/50/15';s on the std pursuit rims and they clear quite well
