6 JD cans and 5 pages of reading hate for the big wheels.I would have to agree that there is a cut of point when big becomes to big. I think that the wheels on the OP is like a body builder who has a huge upper body and skinny little legs, not a good look. Maybe 3 inches less on the rear and a bit more dish on the front. My opinion only.

While they are still not to my taste, the difference (and vast improvement) with those two is that the wheels actually fit in the guards instead of the car being jacked up to clear them! Having said that there was a thread on the bottom one as to whether it is photoshopped or not - if I recall correctly a credible source claimed it isn't but not sure everyone believes that.

It will be interesting to see if any state rego passes 22's seeing as I understand 17's to be the max allowed under the NCOP.

Of course if one has a spare legal set of wheels - well, say no more

Another Purple Torana with big wheels! I love how my car sits.... it needs to go a inch or 2 lower in the rear I know but other than that its perfect!

Also a set of billets would be awesome... just coin$$ now im doing a full motor and box and wiring replacement wheels are on the back burner for now.

Problem I have is when I pop a set of 14's I can get a jack uner my diff!

smaller tyres tuck up under the guards and do less damage to my rear lower quarters when they go... the bigger wheels smash the whole side of the car up. with the stock tank out I can move my pipes away from the wheels and tuck the wheels in harder.. but again - custome wheels cost more coin... just blew $30k on a new motor - new box - new wiring - new fuel system and started my shed! no money for wheels!

Quagmire... that is actually pretty genious...
