I think you will find that the adjustable arms bind on the Torana upper control arm mounts before the diff hits the bump stops.
McDonald Bros arm on 9" with Torana upper control arm mounts. About 2" off the bump stops.
McDonald Bros arm and standard arm on a standard Torana banjo diff.
The McDonald Bros arms are designed for a diff with the upper control arms mounts made from cut down HQ trailing arms.
Some people have notched the arms and the upper mounts for clearance.
You could make a longer fork like the Whiteline arms.

I used Edelbrock adjustable uppers on my car...they are about $220 at Summit. (they are for a Chevelle originally) fit good as well with the 9" I have.
