Headlight buckets and the 4 alignment screws, were they coloured? Or bare zinc appearance?

Both the bonnet hinges and headlight buckets were lightly galvanised from the factory I'd reckon after cleaning mine up. They certainly aren't zinc.

The bonnet catch is silver zinc with a gold zinc pin and black painted springs.

One colour that I had to get mixed up is for the bonnet cable clip on the radiator support panel. It is the only part on a Torana that is this colour, and only the early LH's have it.

The top one is early. (Probably until October '74) The bottom one is what the Torana's got from then on, and it should be zinc, not painted.

And just to show how pointless it is trying to show a colour by taking a photo,  this was taken at the same time with an Iphone. The real colour looks more like the top one though.

I remember buying those clips and other like it new in the 80's and 90's. They weren't gloss from memory but a dusty matt look about them? I may even still have some of them, will have a look. I think what I have might be NOS HQ-WB windscreen mould clips but in that same green finish.

As I am restoring every part on my car, I am finding more parts for the green paint.  The speed nuts for the grille screws, and the brake line clips both had it. (7-74)

They also look like the ones I have seen on many years of Holden, can't remember exactly where but I think maybe holding HJ-HX side strips on at the ends of the strips, possibly also a few of the badges. Maybe even the wide moulds on the boot lids of HK Belmont, Kingswood, Premier GTS etc.

Yep definitely on each end of the front door and rear of the rear door body moulds on my HZ.

Laurie the original 5/16 fuel hose spring clamps are also that greenie colour (the 3/8 ones were a "dusty purple" colour)
