Hey just started moding my LH style pedal to take a cable and so far im happy with it so thought id share some pic's, any tips on final mounting points/positions would be appreciated.
From centre of pivot bolt to centre of hook should be about 69mm shouldnt it?

Can't tell you what the centre to pivot distance should be, when I did it I just used a 6cyl UC pedal and raised the hook a few mm till it hit the underside of the plenum chamber. I then tapped up that spot (on the plenum) so it didn't touch and it worked out perfectly.
Just looking at your hook and where you want to mount it I think it catch the cable on the pedal body before you get to full travel.
Check it out before you fully weld it on by looking through the clutch cable hole in the firewall while swinging the pedal through its arc of travel.
Hope this all makes sense.

Great reference pic Rodomo, that should get him in the right spot !
The only reason I raised the hook was to compensate for the greater travel of a V8 clutch fork. Disregard if you have a 6.

There is a forum member here called Toranamuk and he was (still is?) producing laser cut clutch pedal hooks so you can convert rat trap clutch pedals into full cable ones. Anyway, the point of this is that they come at one length and have a line marked on them so you can cut them down to a set shorter length, one length is to suit the clutch fork of a V8, one is to suit the clutch fork of a 6cyl. But you should have a fair bit of room to move in... like it should work without anything too scientific. If you have a really heavy pressure plate you might want to have the centre of the fork a bit further away from the axis of the pedal pivot so the pedal is a bit lighter. If your clutch is light and you want it to take up quicker, bring the pivot point a fraction closer to the axis.
But Celica boxes etc, I don't even know how those clutch fork lengths compare to the Holden ones.

Yea its just 308 to aussie 4 and i seen those uc pedal photo's on another thread it had 44mm and for v8 fork raise it by 25mm, so i guessed as long as i keep from bolt centre to hook centre 69mm it should be right? I havnt made the hole in the firewall just yet but there is a good reference photo for it on that same topic.
