The engineer has ok'd the seat with out head rests and the DET have given approval in the submision for modified vehichle paperwork i submitted. I do how ever still have my old seats ready on standby as these things never go smoothly.
As mentioned i wasnt happy at the panel gaps and my filler application so have started redoing the whole car again. will post picks soon.

Because of the front end rad support re alignment the car had to be re gapped and hanging panels adjusted. I then re blocked the excess filler.(this is just 1 side!) I was amazed at how much was removed. .
Possibly a bit late, but if you ride a motorbike be very careful around that shit.
I managed to lay my Harley down on sanding dust off my LJ, came into the shed and grabed some front brake, front tyre went sideways.......This is after i had swept...
Cheers.

Finally bought the Torry home.
Had to extend the shed a little bit to give me some working room!
Welcome home girl.

good to hear from you berro, 1 little question, how did you mark out where the light buckets go, did you cut away the uc buckets then trim up the lx and put it over the top then mark out and cut, as you only put b4 and after shots in your pics, but they might be enough to go on, cheers mate, Greg

Hi Greg,
I cut the UC lights outs first. Then cut the LX ones with and extra 5mm surround the scribe them in.
if its not too late do it the dirt bag way and cut the full width of the car. It makes them a lot easier to get straight and square.
cheers

This is looking tarf and amazing! Especially considering how rank it was when you bought it. Hey I just realized those pics you posted of that half-trimmed dash on the first page are of the hatch featured in this month's Street Machine. I don't normally like Commy dashes in Toranas but that one looks okay how the centre curves under.

Yeah Mick, i noticed that.
The car was in for trim when i saw it. I love that double stitched leather look!
I love the silver monaro in the same street machine issue.
That will be my next big project.
